Akufo-Addo’s appointees scared of Special Prosecutor themselves - Odike

Founder and leader of the United Front Party (UFP), Mr. Akwasi Addai Odike has observed fright in the appointees under the current administration as government plans to set up the Independent Special Prosecution office

According to him, some appointees of Akufo-Addo are themselves frightened and cautious of taking and implementing certain decisions that will benefit the people for fear of doing them wrongly and may be recalled to answer some day.

“I can see some appointees of the Akufo-Addo led government are even frightened by this Special Prosecution law yet to come into force”, the 2016 UFP flagbearer stated.

Mr. Akwasi Addai Odike who has praised the current government for its show of commitment in fighting corruption, promised to support it succeed in implementing some of it promises to the electorates but advised frightened appointees not to worry.

“Do not get frightened. Be bold to take decisions as a leader that will benefit the people you are serving”, the UFP leader disclosed on a local radio station in Kumasi

“You should know what will benefit your people without delaying it”, he pointed out Monday during panel discussion hosted by Papa Nyameke, sit-in-host.

He stated that everything points to the fact that appointees of this government are not corrupt and ready to serve Ghanaians unlike the previous administration.

“If you look at their demeanor it tells you they are in government to serve not to steal. …they should not procrastinate to bring development to their people”, UFP founder, Mr. Akwasi Addia Odike urged.
