No matter what the government would do, the policy will not work” Dr. Amakye revealed on Angel Fm’s morning show hosted by Kwame Tanko last Thursday and monitored by MyNewsGh.com.

Dr. Amakye Boateng also declared his intention to contest for the 2020 presidential elections as independent candidate observing that leaders of the country’s two major political parties, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have failed the citizens.

He advised the government to consult seasoned political scientists to advise them on certain issues especially policies before implementing them if the desire to make some remarkable achievements.

This is not the first time somebody has criticized the free SHS policy.

Since its implementation in September 2017, the government has received lots of criticisms mostly from media reportage on its shortcoming.
