Akufo-Addo warns Mahama over attacks on him, NPP

Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has issued a stern warning to President John Mahama to be mindful of his utterances against him and the party.

Addressing the people of Gomoa Akotsiin in the Gomoa East Central Constituency of the Central Region Tuesday, Nana Akufo-Addo said the NPP has a vision for the people of Ghana hence the President should be careful with his comments towards him and the NPP.

President Mahama few weeks ago described Akufo-Addo as a divisive figure who lacks the leadership skills required to unite the country should he be elected to lead the country Notwithstanding the backlash, Mr Mahama recently justified the attack claiming Akufo-Addo tagged him as being “incompetent and visionless”.

But Nana Akufo-Addo has responded saying: “Our president, you should be mindful of your comments towards the NPP. You should know that we are people with a vision; a vision for Ghana,” .

Nana Akufo-Addo said the Mahama government has failed to fulfill any important promise made to Ghanaians, noting the only accomplishment is electricity crisis, popularly referred to in Ghana ass ‘dumsor’. “There’s not one important promise that Mahama has been able to fulfil.

I’ll tell you, the only thing that is associated with John Dramani Mahama’s name that history will recall is dumsor”.
