Corporate Communication Specialist and Head of Corporate Communications for Ghana National Gas Company (GNGC) Ernest Owusu-Bempah Bonsu has expressed strong optimism that Alan Kyerematen, the founder of Movement for Change, will return to his elephant roots.
The Deputy National Communications Director for the NPP is hopeful that the former NPP member will come back to his roots even if it takes a thousand years.
Referencing the recent outburst Mr. Alan made against former President John Agyekum Kufuor, he said the former Trade and Industry Minister spoke out of emotions and bitterness.
He opined that the comments did not come from his heart but from a place of bitterness.
Owusu-Bempah Bonsu described Alan Kyerematen as someone he admires a lot.
He also revealed while speaking with Dr. Ren on Rainbow Radio 92.4, UK, that members of the NPP have been asked not to insult or vilify him because he is still regarded as someone with the NPP.
“Alan spoke out of bitterness and emotions. I don’t think he meant what he said; he spoke from within the heart. But time will tell. Alan is still a member of the NPP, and even if it takes a thousand years, he will return to the NPP. He has done this before, and I am optimistic he will return to the party. We have also asked members of the NPP not to insult him. He is still a member of the party and will return at the right time.”
“Alan Kyerematen is a man I admire, but I am confident that with time, he will return to the NPP. So we shouldn’t attack him if he makes any comments. We are all family, and he walked away due to a misunderstanding. However, we still consider him a man with roots in our tradition,” he said.
