The Iron Sharpeneth Iron (ISI) Pastors and leader conference which was under the theme “Breaking Barriers” kicked off on August 19th , with leaders and ministers from all over the world at the head quarters of All Nations Church in Loganville, Georgia to tap into these leadership resources, brainstorm and share ideas geared towards maximizing their leadership potential.
Rev. Dr. Frank Ofosu-Appiah opened the conference on Wednesday August 19, with a message titled “Suddenly” through which he admonished the leaders about being selective about the places they go. He urged them to understand the phenomenal that God brings their way and have the ability to handle barriers they are confronted with. He went on to advise that leaders should not take places God sends them for granted.
On Thursday August 20th the conference continued with Bishop Charles Agyin-Asare the general Overseer of Perez Chapel International teaching on keys to leadership, He itemized various responsibilities and requirements of effective leadership.
He reminded the listeners to understand that God is the one who sets people in the positions of leadership. He defined leadership as the discipline of exerting special influence within a group to move it to get things done to be of benefit to them. Apostle Chika Onuzo, the founder and senior Pastor of Resurrection House for all Nations in Union City, Georgia took the teachings to a different level with testimonies on establishing Gods purpose and deep teachings on setting one’s own agenda aside for God’s purpose to prevail.
The conference host, Rev. Frank Ofosu-Appiah concluded proceedings of the day with deliberations and recipe for church growth. He gave various points on why some churches are not growing and urged ministers to be organized, resolute in their decision making and adapt to current and real life situations. There were break-out sessions and workshops on how to build a children’s ministry, media management and also Church operations.
The conference gathered momentum when Bishop Charles Agyin-Asare mounted the podium on the night of Friday August 21st and after his message on transferring of spirits many received their breakthrough and several people with hearing and speech impairments were instantly healed. Song ministration by gospel musician Danny Nettey and Rev. Joe Asmah added more color to the conference.
The conference ended on Sunday August 23rd with a special message on curses and blessings by Bishop Charles Agyin-Asare
At the end of the conference there were testimonies about transformation of lives. Almost all the ministers interviewed by Afrikan Post were unanimous in the fact that the conference was indeed an eye opener and worthy of attending.
