National Communications Director of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kakra Essamuah says suspended member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Allotey Jacobs can be invited for political shows.

He noted that Allotey Jacobs will, however, speak as a social commentator but not as a member of the NDC.

This statement comes after the leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) suspended the former Central Regional Chairman.

According to a statement by the party, the decision to suspend Allotey Jacobs was reached after a National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting on Wednesday, May 6, 2020.

According to the statement, Allotey Jacobs has been suspended as a member of the NDC Party in accordance with article 46(1), 46 (6) and 46 (8) (b) of the Party’s constitution for his “persistent anti-party conduct.

Speaking on Atinka FM’s AM Drive with host Ekourba Gyasi, Kakra Essamuah said Allotey Jacobs stopped speaking for the NDC and started addressing himself as a social commentator for some time now.

“Henceforth he cannot be referred to as a member of the NDC. The issue has been referred to the disciplinary committee so the procedure will follow in that order”, he said.
