Pastor Boakye Emmanuel Sarpong, Minister of Christ Embassy Church, at Agona in the Ashanti Region, has advised Christians to allow the word of God to serve as a guiding principle in their various fields of endeavour.
He said in the New Year there was the need for the potency in the word of God to guide the way people conducted themselves in their work places, such that they maintain punctuality and help improve national productivity.
Pastor Sarpong made this observation on Tuesday to usher the congregation into the New Year with great anticipation.
He advised Christians and Ghanaians in general to also learn to die a little for their country by working hard saying “as Christians learn to be ‘givers’ and not always ‘receivers’”.
He urged Christians to give room for the word of God to unite them, adding that unity would prevail in the various churches and the society at large with the word of God embedded in our daily lives.
Pastor Sarpong said the word of God would not only bring about unity among Ghanaians but also cause a boom in the country’s productivity.
