Amanfoo UK raise funds to refurbish alma mater's chemistry lab

Alumni of Prempeh College have launched their Global Fundraising Initiative in London on Saturday May 24, at the Cavendish Banqueting Hall, Edgeware Rd, to raise awareness and funds to support the refurbishment of the schools chemistry Laboratory.

The Black Tie event which was attended by a representative of Ghana’s High Commission in the UK, Mr. William Osafo among other dignitaries was highly patronized by alumni of Prempeh College and other schools such as Aburi Girls, St Louis and Opoku Ware.

President of Amanfoo UK, Mr. Albert Owusu said their aim is to “raise funds throughout 2014, and all Amanfoo all over the world, are invited to make donations".

He further expressed appreciation on behalf of executive members of Amanfoo UK to all those who supported them in the launch of their initiative including Friends of Croydon, Golden Tulips, Progressive Ladies and Black Cab Association.

They were grateful to their sponsors, Ghana Home Loans, Stanbic Bank, Rah Shipping, Pay Afrique, Fire Live Radio and Elegant Shiek who put a life in their initiative.
