Amissah-Arthur praises Paramount Chief of Abeadzeman

Vice President Kwesi Amissah–Arthur has extolled the leadership qualities of Daasebre Ewusi VII that had contributed to the development of the traditional area.

Mr Amissah-Arthur said good leadership required selflessness, humility and perseverance as exhibited by the traditional ruler.

Mr Amissah-Arthur made the statement when he called on of the Paramount Chief of the Abeadzeman Traditional Area, Daasebre Kwebu Ewusi VII, of Abeadze Dominase in the Mfantsiman District in the Central Region to campaign and also to congratulate him on his nomination as Vice President of the National House of Chiefs.

Vice-President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur used the occasion political actors to conduct their campaigns devoid of invectives and character assassination as the campaign for the 2016 polls intensifies.

He entreated the leadership of the various parties to campaign based on the programmes and policies they intended to role out to develop the country should the electorate give them the mandate.

Election

The Vice-President further urged the electorate to elect people with strength of character and vision to develop the country for which reason he called for a proper assessment and scrutiny of campaign messages of the political parties to make an informed choice.

Daasebre Ewusi VII, who is also the President of the Central Regional House of Chiefs, expressed appreciation for government for the numerous development project that he has witnessed and that there was no way that he would say the NDC party hasn’t developed his area.
He said this is a government that has partner chiefs including him to develop his traditional area so the need for continuity since he’s a witness to most of the development project that has gone on in the region.

He used the occasion to call on Ghanaians to maintain the natural peace that we are enjoying before and after the elections since we have only one Ghana.
