The youth of Kofitiakrom in the Jaman South Municipality of the Bono Region are protesting against the lack of mobile network connectivity in their area.
A video posted by an account on X shows the youth angrily destroying newly donated student desks intended for the schools in the community as a form of their protest.
The youth who are demanding mobile network connectivity have pledged not to vote for any candidate in the December general elections until their demands are met.
They threatened to escalate their protests by vandalizing more properties if their demands for road construction and mobile network connectivity are not addressed.
The incident has sparked public outrage, with netizens calling for the arrest and prosecution of the youths captured vandalizing properties.
