Lawyer Dr. Maurice Ampaw has given embattled Captain of the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan a March 2019 ending ultimatum to publicly apologize to Sarah Kwablah for disgracing her.
According to him, Asamoah Gyan has done great damage to the young lady’s reputation by calling her an extortionist after he had sex with her.
He said the Kayserispor striker and his cohorts submitted fabricated evidence to suit their case; used media propaganda to create a certain public perception and that explains why the court acquitted and discharged his clients as the prosecution couldn’t establish any prima facie.
A Circuit Court in Accra presided over by Her Honour Afia Agbanu Kumador on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 upheld a submission of no case filed by lawyers of Sarah Kwablah and three others against Asamoah Gyan, the Black stars captain.
The Black Stars Captain had dragged the four to court for conspiracy and extortion after Ms Kwablah alleged that he raped her.
Speaking on Kasapa News, Lawyer Maurice Ampaw stated that his client is not ready to take any compensation from Asamoah Gyan but needs the footballer to render an unqualified else meet them in court.
“Asamoah Gyan has asked some people to call me behind the scenes to handle the matter out of court, if he comes out to apologize we don’t have any case with him. He should publicly tell Ghanaians that he’s sorry and that he misconducted himself. Asamoah Gyan has up to the end of March to do the honorable thing otherwise we’ll haul him before a High Court for malicious prosecution.”
