The Media liaison officer of Parliament Chapel International (formerly Freedom Chapel), McLord Ice said the founder and leader of the church; Apostle Amoako Atta could never have referred to respected Ghanaian pastors as homosexuals.

His comments came at the heels of a publication on www.yen.com under the headline “Many Respected Ghanaian ‘men of God’ Are Homosexuals – Apostle Amoako Atta” which suggests that ‘The founder and leader of Freedom Chapel International, Apostle Amoako Atta has revealed that there are many respected Ghanaian pastors who are homosexuals.’

The said story also said that the Apostle indicated that the involvement of these influential ‘Men of God’ is even making it difficult for Ghana to fight against the sexual orientation as a country.

But, McLord Ice who spoke to this journalist over the issue indicated that Apostle Francis Amoako Atta is one man of God who has respect for every other men of God and that he will not by any chance speak against them in such manner.

He said the publication could the said publication is a misrepresentation of what the Apostle meant when he spoke on Accra-based Adom FM on Tuesday about homosexuality.

McLord Ice also averred that Apostle Amoako Atta has a strong position against the legalization of homosexuality but believes rather in drawing such persons closer to God.

Meanwhile, Apostle Francis Amoako Atta will himself respond to the said publication and throw more light on his submissions during the interview on Adom fm.
