Armed Robbers Attack Ghana Emulsion

Armed robbers attacked the offices of Ghana Emulsion, located on the Tema Motorway, behind Tarzan Enterprise and took way the company's safe containing foreign and local currencies running into several millions of cedis last Saturday night.

Mr. Eben Brew, accountant, who informed the Chronicle stated that the armed men also took away very important documents.

When Chronicle learnt from the accountant as a result of information that armed bandits will raid the company's premises, management quickly informed the regional police command and followed it up with a letter, asking for assistance.

But on the morning of Sunday, he was informed that armed robbers had broken into the offices and discovered that the safe which contained foreign and local currencies, and vital documents, had been taken away.

According to Brew, the two security guards who were on duty Saturday night stated that the armed robbers, numbering about five, attacked and tied them, and locked them up separately in the toilets.

Meanwhile, the regional police commander is investigating the crime.
