Armed Robbers Strike Again

Armed Robbers stormed the offices of Tropical Oil Company, a petroleum company in Kumasi on Monday and made away with an amount of ?150 million.

A Daily Graphic report says the money had been placed in a vehicle ready to be conveyed to the bank when the robbers struck. According to the report the robbers emerged from nowhere, fired shots to scare off those around and attacked the vehicle. The robbers then fled with the booty in a Toyota corolla with registration number AS 632 A. The Police later arrived after the robbers have fled with the booty.

In another development, armed robbers yesterday, attacked the Tema Regular Baptist Church and Academy at Community 9 and made away with some amount of money. The robbers during the attack killed the duty watchman.

The Headmaster of the school Ebenezer Graves told ADOM-FM that he found the body of Dagati with his hands and legs tied together in front of a container. A safe, which was in the Pastor's Office at the chapel was also broken into and ransacked. A set of keys and some property belonging to the church were also found out side the church office. The Police are still continuing with their investigations.
