Madam Akua Donkor believes strongly that, the man arrested for carrying a gun at President Mahama's church with the intent to kill the president, was hired by NPP’s leader, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

According to the Founder and leader of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Nana Addo together with the Ashanti Regional New Patriotic Party Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako alias 'Chairman Wontumi' masterminded the attempted assassination.

The self-acclaimed presidential adviser dared the duo to deny her claims or face her wrath after their failed plot to kill the president.

36-year-old Charles Antwi is currently serving a 10-year-jail term for illegal possession of arms.

The convict revealed to the court that the day he was arrested was the fourth time he had gone to the church but failed to carry out his mission because the president was not in church.

His trial and sentence has been condemned by many including a Human Rights activist and lawyer, Francis-Xavier Sosu, after Charles's mother declared him mentally unstable.

Lawyer Francis-Xavier Sosu has vowed to defend the mentally-unstable-assassin – but that has provoked Madam Akua Donkor.

Speaking on NEAT FM, the "farmer-politician" however tagged the lawyer as a “murderer” with his intention to defend the alleged President’s killer.

“Charles Antwi is not insane, so why would the lawyer defend him? He [the lawyer] is also a murderer. Nana Addo and Wontumi must be arrested as well,” she told host Kwasi Aboagye.
