Francis Osei Nsiah, the Ashanti Regional EC Chairman, has assured that he is going to deliver a petition presented to him by the Ashanti Regional NDC to his boss, within 24 hours.

According to him, the petition has been successfully received from the party leadership and within the next 24 hours, he is going to make it reach the national EC boss.

"The Regional directorate, we want to assure the NDC that we've received their petition and by the next 24 hours this petition will reach the national office," he said.

The National Democratic Congress has accused the Electoral Commission of Ghana of several inconsistencies in the Voters Register. These concerns by the party resulted in a nationwide demonstration, 'Enough is Enough'.

This nationwide demonstration saw a massive turn out in almost all the 16 regions and this has also increased the cases of violence.
