Assembly constructs building complex

Goaso (B/A), July 19, GNA - The Asutifi District Assembly in Brong-Ahafo is constructing a multi-million Ghana Cedis building complex at Kenyasi to accommodate various departments and agencies in the district.

The project is financed from the stool land revenue, Mr Eric Addai, District Chief Executive, disclosed this, when he conducted newsmen round the project at Kenyasi.

He said the assembly was also constructing senior and junior staff bungalows, educational facilities at Kenyasi Number One and Kenyasi Number Two, as well as a number of toilet facilities in the district.

Other projects the assembly is undertaking include, the rehabilitation of feeder roads and construction of police stations at Ntotroso and other communities, Mr Addai added.

In another development, Mr Addai has debunked allegations levelled against him by a section of the public that he had released his vehicle for the New Patriotic Party for campaign.

He said allegation, published recently by some news papers "was fabricated, baseless and unfounded".

Mr Addai told newsmen that the move was a calculated attempt to derail him from the path of development and progress in the district.

He assured the people that he would not relent in his efforts to help improve their living conditions.
