Accra, Oct. 19, GNA - Mr Edward Dua Agyman, Auditor-General, has been elected Vice Chairman of the Governing Board of Heads of African Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions of United Nations (AFROSAI). His election took place during the 18th Congress of the Heads of Supreme Audit Institutions of the United Nations in Budapest, Hungary, a release from the Office of the Auditor-General signed by Mr Kwesi Okyere, Public Relation Officer, said.
Mr Dua Agyeman has been a key member of the Organisation since his assumption of office as Ghana's Auditor-General and has hosted a number of its meetings including the Combined Assembly Meeting of Heads of AFROSAI and SADCOSAI, French Speaking Countries version, in Accra in November 2003.
The Auditor-General presented a paper on: "Transitional Arrangements For The Amalgamation of AFROSAI and SADCOSAI and "The Draft Statutes and Regulations of the New African Organisation of English Speaking Supreme Audit Institutions at the Budapest meeting.
