The Auditor-General, Mr. Edward Dua-Agyeman has accused the Committee for Joint Action of distorting portions of his report for 2006/2007 for political gain.
The CJA claimed the report highlights government's failure in administering state agencies mandated to manage state funds.
Speaking to journalists today, the Auditor-General dismissed the CJA' claim that internally generated funds collected by the various MDAs were used by the agencies themselves.
He also refuted the Committee's accusations that government did not transfer the total amount of funds accrued to the GETFund and NHIS.
The pressure group also accused government under declaring funds received from donor partners for developmental purposes.
But Mr. Dua-Agyeman disagrees.
