Awutu-Senya DCE meets Assembly staff and heads of departments

Awutu Beraku (C/R) May 28 GNA - The new Chief Executive for Awutu-Senya District, Mr Adams Nuhun, has urged personnel of the assembly and heads of the decentralized departments to put aside their political sentiments and contribute meaningfully towards the general development of the area.

He said the development of the district was a collective responsibility of all, especially the heads, as technocrats, and, therefore, asked them to eschew negative tendencies that would retard the social economic development of the district. Mr Nuhun made the call at his first meeting with the staff of the District Assembly and the heads of decentralized departments at Awutu Beraku.

He called for hard work to increase productivity towards the promotion of the district, adding that you must cooperate with each other for a smooth administration to improve the lot of the people. The DCE said his doors were opened to receiving suggestions and ideas that could help move the district forward.

Mr Daniel Osadu, former District Chief Executive for Awutu-Effutu-Senya, who has been detailed to temporarily assist the DCE to put things in order, advised the staff and the technocrats to use their rich experiences to assist the DCE to achieve success. Mr Kwame Acquah, District Director, National Commission on Civic Education (NCCE) on behalf of the heads, promised to cooperate to develop the district.

He appealed to the DCE to help them to acquire the needed logistics including transport and stationeries for effective and efficient work for increased productivity.
