The principal of the Bolgatanga Polytechnic, Dr. Joseph Nsor Azure, and Mr. Michael Sebbbau, the Polytechnic Secretary died on the spot when the vehicle on which they were travelling ran into a stationary articulated truck at the Pwalugu police barrier on Saturday night.

The two officials were said to be on their way to Bolgatanga from Accra in a Nissan double cabin pick-up. Their bodies have been deposited at the Tamale Teaching hospital mortuary for autopsy.
