BNI Requests Adakabre To Produce 90M Fake Tape.

The Informer is reporting on authority that the Bureau of National Investigation (BNI), in line with its investigative mandate, has asked Adakbre Frimpong Manso, host of Adom FM’s Morning Show “Edwasu Nsem”, to produce a tape that he claims to have in his possession.

Last week Friday, after 10 a.m., two BNI operatives visited the Tema offices of Adom FM to make the request.

The request was made in the wake of Adakabre’s noise-making on air that he had a copy of the tape and was going to air same today, Monday, May 16, 2011. Adakabre Frimpong Manso, goaded-on and aided by noisy Afia Pokua and Kofi Adoma, has carved a notorious niche for himself as the king of sensational radio journalism in Ghana.

Last Friday, Adakabre would have the whole world believe that there exists a recording of His Excellency President Atta Mills and his aides discussing a budget of 90M GHC, which is to be used to buy the votes of delegates in the run-up to the NDC’s July congress to elect a new Flagbearer. Goaded-on by Afia Pokua and Kofi Adoma, Adakabre went on-and-on about the existence of a 2 hour tape of which 9 minutes is devoted to the discussion of the 90M budget.

The move by the BNI therefore to ask Adakabre to produce the tape was as a direct result of the things that Adakabre said on air.

According to The Informer’s Adom FM sources, Adakabre broke into profuse sweating immediately the BNI operatives showed up.

Upon preliminary quizzing, Adakabre began to confess that he did not have a copy of the tape and that he was just bluffing on air.

According to Adakabre, he did not have any tape nor listened to any recording and that he had been promised that over the weekend, he will be made to listen to the tape.

The professionals that they are, the BNI operatives left Adakabre but informed him that since he said he would have access to the tape on Sunday, they will return on Monday for him to produce the tape to help in their investigative work.

Adom FM sources have it that considering the manner in which Adakabre was sweating at the sight of the BNI operatives, he could have easily wet his pants. In order to protect its corporate image, information gathered has it that Management of Adom FM assured the BNI operatives that they will not allow Adakabre and his noisy crew to play any fake and doctored tape on their network. Obviously, after the Amina false rape story, Management of Adom FM is not about to allow Adakabre and his noisy crew to once again embarrass the station by putting out falsehood.

It would be recalled that not too long ago the selfsame Adakabre, supported by the selfsame noisy Afia Pokua and Kofi Adoma, concocted an unbelievable story about a certain Amina, who was a victim of a highway robbery cum mass rape incident.

The high point of the said fabrication, was the bit about the driver of the Yutong bus who was forced to have sex with four women; collapsed in the process; was resuscitated with a sachet of pure water; and continued to enjoy another bout with a fifth woman. How incredulous!!!

Yet, people like Adakabre and his crew tried hard to force that falsehood down the conscience of Ghanaians.

As things stand now, every right-thinking Ghanaian knows that the Amina story was a fabrication.

Indeed, were we in other jurisdictions, there is no way the likes of Adakabre and Afia Pokua will ever be allowed to continue sit behind a consul and microphones.

It is very clear that Adakabre and his crew have turned themselves into paid agents of certain political groupings and using Adom FM’s platform to execute their parochial stomach-direction political agenda. Why Kwesi Twum is allowing Adom FM to be the home of fabrication, is something that is beating the imagination of concerned watchers.
