The Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Limited (BOST) has extended support to the national Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, with a donation to aid the Muslim community during the holy month of Ramadan.

A delegation from BOST, representing Managing Director, Mr. Afetsi Awoonor, presented essential food items, including bags of rice, sugar, tins of Ideal milk, cartons of Lipton tea, tomato paste, gallons of cooking oil, and Milo, along with a cash donation.

The contribution aims to assist the Chief Imam’s office in providing for the less privileged during the fasting period.

Receiving the donation at his residence in Accra, Sheikh Sharubutu expressed deep gratitude for BOST’s generosity.

He offered prayers for the company’s leadership and employees, asking for divine blessings and continued success.

'This act of kindness will go a long way in supporting many people in need during Ramadan' a representative from the Chief Imam’s office said.

BOST’s gesture aligns with its corporate social responsibility commitments, emphasizing community support and religious harmony.

The company has consistently contributed to various social causes, reinforcing its role beyond the energy sector and into national development.

Ramadan is a time of reflection, compassion, and generosity, officials at BOST noted that the initiative demonstrates the spirit of unity in Ghana’s diverse society.
