Bagbin can’t continue to be in gov’t – Felix Kwakye

Deputy Minister of Information and Media Relations, Felix Kwakye Ofosu says Alban Bagbin’s continuous stay in government is “untenable” after coming out to publicly criticise President John Mahama.

Kwakye Ofosu wrote on his facebook wall that: “I hold the view that Hon. Alban Bagbin has made his continued stay in government untenable with his conduct”.

Mr Bagbin, one of the members of the president’s special taskforce (Wise men) superintending the execution of the government’s priority projects claims President Mahama has become inaccessible to him for the past five months.

According to him, his strenuous attempts to get to advise the president in private about the festering corruption in government have been thwarted by unnecessary red tapes.

The former health minister told the media that he has decided to be airing his concerns publicly since the president has decided not to accord him private audience.

Bagbin has been called a “big liar” by Presidential Staffer Stan Dogbe over his claims of not gaining access to the president.

Foreign Affairs Minister Hanna Tetteh has also advised Bagbin to be a zealous “wise man” instead of taking the president to the cleaners the way he has done.

The latest to join the condemnation wagon is Kwakye Ofosu who essentially believes Bagbin’s conduct makes him a persona non grata in government circles.
