Vivendi, one of the multinational corporations bidding for our water, is in financial crisis. Monitored news from Reuters and BBC indicates that the corporation posted a loss of $19.64 billion in its 2nd quarter.
According to the INSIGHT, Vivendi is on the brink of collapsing in the ENRON style. The subsidiary was in Ghana to bid for the Ghana Water Company. They had to withdraw because of an alleged payment of a $5,000,000 bribe to a government official.
The INSIGHT believes it's time for journalists to start turning boulders, and uncovering the slow news that doesn't make it to the tables of the Chief editors for fear or favor.
