Bar operators ask to ensure sanitation

Mankessim (C/R), Sept 14, GNA - The Mankessim Branch Manager of the Kakum Rural Bank, Mr Napoleon Annan, has appealed to members of the Ghana Bar Operator Association to ensure good sanitation at their premises to attract customers.

Speaking at the first anniversary of the Mankessim branch of the Association on Monday, he stated that nobody would like to patronise an unhygienic bar.

He noted that the number of tourists to the Central Region was increasing everyday but observed that no visitor would continue to visit a public place that did not maintain good sanitation.

Mr Annan appealed to members of the Association to ensure environmental cleanliness to attract more customers.

He advised them to pool their resources to assist their colleagues in times of need and urged them to save with the bank to have access to loans and other credit facilities to expand their businesses.

Mr Ben Kofi, Chairman of the Mankessim Branch of the Association, appealed to the members to provide quality services to their customers. The Assembly Member of Nkusukum Mankessim, Mr Frank Etrue Hayford, advised the people to register with the National Health Insurance Scheme to enable them to access to quality health care.
