Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and his significant half, Samira Bawumia have sent an Easter message to Ghanaians especially Christians via social media.
In a selfie video recorded with the second lady’s phone, Vice President Bawumia while expressing hope that Ghana and the world will overcome the Coronavirus pandemic, urged Ghanaians to heed to the president’s call for people to practice safety measures that will protect them from the virus.
“As the president said yesterday and we should follow what he said, that we should stay at home and take all the preventive measures against the coronavirus. Such as washing our hands, maintaining social distancing and so on.” He urged.
“As we pray to God this Easter, may our prayers mark a turning point in our fight against the coronavirus. We will Insahallah win this battle, together let us as win this battle.” He added.
