The Deputy National Youth Organiser of the NDC, Osman Ayariga, has launched a scathing attack on the government over its failure to fulfill promises made during the 2020 elections.

Addressing a small gathering of National Democratic Congress' youth during a campaign tour, Ayariga described the government’s much-touted investment in health infrastructure, Agenda 111, as Agenda "419" due to their failure to meet their own deadlines.

Ayariga also stated that the government plans to deceive Ghanaians by commissioning unfinished hospital projects under the Agenda 111 initiative as an attempt to garner votes.

“They promised us Agenda 111 but now it has become Agenda ‘419’ because this is a government of scammers. We are told in the coming days, because the government is so desperate and is continuing to promise, they plan on commissioning some of the uncompleted Agenda 111 projects.

“So, even though the facilities are uncompleted, you will see Bawumia desperate to commission uncompleted hospitals and this is how desperate this government and Bawumia is,” he stated in a video.

Ayariga therefore issued a stern warning, threatening to decommission any unfinished hospital project that is commissioned by the New Patriotic Party government and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the presidential candidate of the NPP.

“We are warning them that anywhere they commission any uncompleted hospital, we as the youth will go and decommission all the commissioned uncompleted hospitals because we cannot be deceived twice.

“We were in this country when they came to lie to us with One District One Factory, One Constituency One Million Dollars, One Village One Dam, yete sika so nso ekom di yen,” he said.
