Member of Parliament(MP) for Ada constituency, Hon. Comfort Doyoe Cudjoe is claiming that Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia owes her and other MPs a sum of $8 million for the $1 million per constituency promised.

While speaking in an interview on Onua FM monitored by MyNewsGh.com, Comfort Doyoe disclosed that she never received the money Dr Bawumia promised to give to each constituency for developmental projects.

“Bawumia promised each district a million dollars but we never got the money. He lies too much. If he had given us the money, we could have done a lot of developmental projects”. He claimed.

The MP for Ada disclosed that the government lied that Ada residents have benefited from the 1 District, 1 Factory initiative.

“People of Ada listen to me well, Bawumia owes us $8 million dollars. He can’t come and promise us money and pretend he didn’t”. Comfort Doyoe stated that the vice president deceived the people of Ada.

She further added that the NPP has done no developmental projects in her constituency adding that the developmental projects including the provision of schools, and poly tanks for water storage for the residents are not developmental projects by the NPP.
