Vice President Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia and some other high profile personalities from the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) trooped in to the Nima residence to solidarize with the family of the late Managing Editor of the Al-Hajj Newspaper, Alhaji Bature Iddrisu.

Members of the opposition NDC such as brother of the Former President, Ibrahim Mahama, MP for Tamale North, Alhassan Suhuyini, Joseph Ade Coker, Samuel Ablakwa, Mustapha Ahmed, Joshua Alabi were all present at the function.
The rest were Former NHIS boss, Sylvester Mensah, Harry Zakour and Lawyer Victor Adawudu.
