Second Lady Samira Bawumia has stated that she has great faith in her husband, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, to guide Ghana's progress.
Speaking at the party's last rally in Accra on Thursday at Legon in Accra, Samira urged Ghanaians to embrace Dr. Bawumia's vision for advancement and commended his unflinching dedication and relentless efforts to improve the country.
"I know him very, very well. I have watched him work hard day and night, seven days a week, from morning till night.
"This man will apply himself. This man will not let you down. Dr. Bawumia means what he says, and he says what he means. He will do right by the people of this country," Samira stated.
On his part, NPP vice-presidential candidate Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, popularly referred to as NAPO, also stated that Dr. Bawumia was the only person qualified to guide Ghana into the future.
He asked Ghanaians to vote in big numbers in order to help Dr. Bawumia win the December 7 presidential election.
"Bawumia is the only one prepared for the future; vote for him. The Heavens must answer. December 7 is the future of Ghana; it's your future, it's our future," NAPO stated.
