Ministry Of Foreign Affairs And Regional Integration has urged Ghanaians living in Nigeria to abide by the laws of the neighbouring country to avoid any infraction of laws.
This advice comes after the Federal Republic of Nigeria deported four Ghanaians for falsification of Nigeria identity.
A statement from the Ministry read that Ghanaians in Nigeria must ensure “they possess the required documentation which enable them to legally reside in Nigeria, pursuant to the ECOWAS Protocol A/P.1/5/79 relating to the free Movement of Persons, Residence and Establishment.”
The four Ghanaians were deported on March 22 , 2019.
