Be patient – Amissah-Arthur to NDC supporters

Vice President, Paa Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur Vice President, Paa Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur

Vice President Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur has appealed to supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to exercise patience as the December 7 polls draw near.

Speaking at a rally at Bulen in the Wa East constituency of the Upper West Region as he ended his campaign tour, Mr Amissah-Arthur said the parties that were going to lose the elections were getting desperate and it was necessary that all NDC supporters remained calm.

He said the NDC was very optimistic of winning this year's elections, adding that it was important that the supporters avoided all forms of provocation to ensure peace after the elections.

He, therefore, urged the teeming supporters of the party to use their thumbs come December 7 to guarantee victory for the party.

Taking a swipe at the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Amissah-Arthur said development does not come naturally to the NPP, hence they are resorting to making unrealistic promises to the electorate.

He also urged the electorate in Wa East to vote for the NDC’s parliamentary candidate for the area, Dr Seidu Danaa.
