Catholic Metropolitan Archbishop of Accra, Gabriel Charles Palmer Buckle has admonished Christians to thank God for bringing 2013 to an end, and the blessings bestowed on them.
He called on Ghanaians to live decent lives in the new year for the glory of God to be upon them in all their endeavours.
Archbishop Buckle gave the caution in Accra on Tuesday in a sermon to usher in the new year.
He said Christians should reflect the principles of Jesus Christ.
Archbishop Buckle said the Lord has been good to Ghanaians through His protection and steadfast love “because He began and ended with us in…2013”.
“God is the Alpha and Omega and therefore when we trust and believe in Him, He will surely begin and end with us well,” he added.
He said God require of Christians to have faith and walk in the spirit.
He prayed for peace, stability and unity for Ghana.
