The Bekwai Constituency was thrown into a moment of frenzied celebration when the entire support of the ruling New Patriotic Party presented the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the party, Chairman Wontumi, with beautifully decorated flowers to welcome him and his entourage to the constituency.

Inspired by the regional chairman's selfless dedication and commitment to the party's service, the Bekwai Constituency executives presented Chairman Wontumi with flowers as their token of appreciation for everything he has done and continues to do for the ruling party.

In an address to officially welcome Chairman Wontumi and his team to the constituency as part of their campaign tour, the executives recounted, with tears in their eyes, that as late as 11 p.m. on Thursday, Chairman Wontumi was still actively campaigning at the Odotobri Constituency.

"We heard reports that you were still campaigning in the Odotobri Constituency, which shares neighbours with us, as late as 11 p.m. We were wondering how you were going to make it to our constituency this morning but here you are. In fact, you have really demonstrated to us the kind of sacrifices we all need to make for this party," they said.

According to them, the visit by Chairman Wontumi has not only gingered their spirit but has also given them hope that the NPP will achieve a resounding victory come December 7.

"Your immeasurable and unwavering commitment to the NPP is a source of motivation for all of us, particularly those in Bekwai Constituency here. You always inspire us to give our all for this party, and for this reason, we want to decorate you with these flowers to indelibly remind you that we really appreciate your efforts and hard work," they added.

Meanwhile, reports indicate that the ongoing campaign tour by the Ashanti Regional Chairman has generated a renewed commitment from the grassroots support base of the party ahead of a similar tour expected to be embarked on by the Vice President and flagbearer of the party, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, a couple of weeks from now.
