Nearly a month after receiving massive receptions during his campaign tours in the Volta and Oti Regions, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia returned to the Oti Region on Friday to another enthusiastic welcome.
The Vice President and NPP Flagbearer visited the Biakoye, Buem, and Guan Constituencies on a busy day, just one week before the polls.
Dr. Bawumia began the day in Nkonya Ahenkro in the Biakoye Constituency with his usual engagement with stakeholders, including Chiefs, the Clergy, Imam, and other key figures in the Constituency.
As is customary in all his stakeholder engagements, Dr. Bawumia was warmly welcomed by the Chiefs, Clergy, and Imams who spoke highly of him and his policies before he outlined his extensive plans for the transformation of Ghana.
He then proceeded to the Abotoase Central Mosque to join fellow Muslims for Friday prayers.
Next, Bawumia visited the Buem Constituency, starting with another stakeholder engagement before hosting a lively community event in Jasikan.
The community event in Jasikan drew a large crowd, reminiscent of a rally in the Ashanti Region.
As seen in many of the constituencies he has visited, supporters arrived well before the scheduled time, eagerly waiting for the arrival of the man they proudly chanted slogans for.
Following the warm reception, Dr. Bawumia continued his tour to the Guan Constituency, beginning at Likpe Mate with a meeting with stakeholders before concluding the day with another community event where a diverse crowd of all ages welcomed the Vice President.
Dr. Bawumia is set to continue his tour in the Eastern Region, with stops in Afram Plains and Koforidua.
