Biakoye NPP Chairman holds reception for members

Kwamikrom (V/R), Jan. 13, GNA- Members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) at Biakoye constituency have been advised to be circumspect in the selection of parliamentary candidates.

The advice was given by Mr Samuel Genya, an Assistant Constituency Secretary of the NPP when addressing party activists at an end-of-year get-together organised by the constituency chairman, Mr Festus Abotsina at Kwamikrom.

Mr Genya said the NPP's primaries would be held at a delegates' meeting to finally select an aspiring parliamentary candidate for the constituency.

Mr Abotsina expressed the hope that the get-together would mark the end of all conflicts within the rank and file of the party over the selection of Mr. Kwasi Owusu Yeboa, Volta Regional Minister and Mr. Colins Boateng, Executive Secretary of the Ghana Export Promotion Council (GEPC) as parliamentary candidate.
