Mr Ware said the District Security Committee would also wage war on armed robbery that is on the ascendancy.
He commended the district police for working hard to combat crime in the area.
The DCE, however, appealed to the people to honour their civic responsibilities by paying their basic rates, fees and levies, to support the assembly raise funds for development.
Mr Ware advised the people to lead responsible lives and enter the New Year with good intentions, constructive suggestions and contributions for the progress of the assembly and the area.
