Founder and leader of the Perez Chapel, Bishop Charles Agyinasare has prayed for speedy recovery for vice president Bawumia

The respected preacher committed the Vice President in the Lord's hands after an audience wrote a comment about the Vice President's health during a Facebook live session

Bishop Agyinasare also prayed for all leaders of the country, Parliamentarians, the Judiciary, the Media and the Executive arms of government.

The prayer which lasted for about 1 minute and 30seconds started with Bishop Agyinasare reading out the comment of the viewer.

"Somebody said our Vice President H.E. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is not feeling fine" he stated and continued by emphasising "yes, we all know that and we want to pray for him, we want to pray for the president"

"Heavenly father, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, thank you for our nation. As we have entered this New Year, we pray for wisdom for our president, we pray for our Vice President, we ask that you stretch forth your healing hands to touch him. Whatever bout of sickness has attacked him, we pray that he be touched and delivered like never before, in Jesus name." Bishop Agyinasare prayed

The Vice President was reported sick by a Flagstaff House communication and subsequently flown to UK where he is on a medical break.

It is unclear what illness he suffered as official sources have been tight-lipped except to say that he will be back soon.

The absence of the Vice President has led to the Speaker of Parliament been sworn in as acting President of the country any time the president leaves the shores.

The Speaker, had the privilege of serving as president last week Sunday to Tuesday when President Akufo-Addo and his vice Dr Mahamudu Bawumia were out of the Jurisdiction.

To mark his 35th anniversary in the miracle ministry as well as his Christ Is The Answer Campaign (CITAC), the founder of Perez Chapel International, Bishop Charles Agyinasare, will be organising a Festival of Miracles scheduled for 30 January to 2 February at the at the Independence Square in Accra.
