Someone had the guts to tell me women should feel good about being raped because if he saw you worthy of sex with him, it’s a compliment. Who raised these animals? Please raise your sons better omg. #BreakTheSilence

When you rape or sexually assault someone, it's goes beyond that moment. This affects the person's perspective about love and family

Psychologically, the person turns to hates anything intimacy and then goes at length to break homes.#BreakTheSilence

My little sister is out and I have to call her every few minutes just to make sure she's fine. She can't even have a good time with her friends because there are so many sick human beings.

Reporting a sexual assault can be traumatic. The process of reporting is inherently invasive when your body is the scene of the crime.

However, the process of healing starts when we encourage victims to share their problem and we help them seek justice.#BreakTheSilence pic.twitter.com/0HUw72KhgB

If we want fewer rapists on the streets, we need to rethink how we treat sexual assault victims. Rape victims shouldn’t be terrified that if they come forward, they will be called liars, or slut-shamed, or interrogated.

To perpetrators of rape it could be just few seconds of fun or weakness ie. whatever those unreasonable reasons may be.But to the victims, a life time of pain, torture, mental agony???????no justification here. #BreakTheSilence https://t.co/o9DTKmz5Tf

As we’ve all come together to condemn rape in all of its form, let our ladies also make conscious efforts to reduce the rate at which they visit guys. Especially those you don’t wana have sex with. One two wanim nie, odi wo nso’a na wo kekamu ???? #BreakTheSilence

All that's going on now, clearly shows that ladies have been quiet for long and can't take it anymore.. When someone is ranting about what she has gone through don't tell her to "SHUT IT" cause it takes a lotta courage to COME OUT!WE FED UP!!... #BreakTheSilence

Consent is a clear and enthusiastic yes! If the lady seems unsure, stays silent, doesn’t respond, or says “Maybe…” then they aren’t saying “yes.”
