British-born Ghanaian stabbed to death in London

A 21-year-old man Kwasi Anim-Boadu, believed to be of Ghanaian descent, has been stabbed to death in the United Kingdom.

Anim-Boadu was stabbed at Finsbury Park in the early hours of Saturday April 21, the UK-based Standard website has reported.

He is the 39th person to be fatally stabbed in London since the beginning of the year.

Announcing the tragic incident on social media, a sister of the deceased Naya wrote: “My younger brother, my only brother got stabbed to death this morning. Guys this needs to stop. The pain I’m experiencing is indescribable”.

She added: “In the early hours of Saturday 21st of April 2018. Kwasi Anim-Boadu also known as Jnr was taken away from his friends and family in a devastating way. His life was cut short due to a brutal and violent mindless act of knife crime. Kwasi was a young boy who was full of life, he brought joy to everyone around him through his conspicuous smile and heart-warming aura”.

Kwasi who was nicknamed ‘Lavish’ was pronounced dead in the street after being found injured on the Andover Estate.

According to reports, a 21-year-old man was also found nearby with knife wounds, and was taken to the hospital. He has been arrested.
