Bryan Acheampong acclaimed as parliamentary candidate

Over six hundred delegates, 5 executives and 17 constituency officers in the Abetifi constituency of the Eastern Region have in unison acclaimed incumbent Member of Parliament, Mr Bryan Acheampong as the Parliamentary candidate for the 2020 general elections.

Mr Acheampong who doubles as Minister of state in charge of interior was acclaimed at a colourful ceremony at Nkwatia in the Abetifi constituency.

He received an overwhelming support from all faithful and qualified delegates and constituency executives.

Party executives who spoke to the media praised the MP for his good works in the constituency, an utmost reason for retaining him.

”Bryan’s proven track record in spearheading development in the Kwahu East Constituency tilt the scale in his favour. And so we don’t have a choice than to give him a 100% endorsement. We can’t substitute him for any other person. We sincerely believe he’ll widen the party’s vote margin in the December polls”.

Several other delegates shared similar positive stories on the performance of the Honourable MP in the area.

Over the past three years of the NPP’s administration, the constituency has witnessed several developmental projects spearheaded by the MP, which includes the construction of roads, mechanised boreholes, scholarship for Teachers, free uniforms for all basic school pupils, Thrift shops to feed older persons amongst others.

The Abetifi MP thanked all the delegates for throwing their weight behind him and assured them of more developmental works within the constituency.

”I’m equally overwhelmed by this huge endorsement. I want to assure you, that the development you witnessed over the last 3 years won’t end there.
Bigger developments are coming. For now I say thank you for believing in me, With this same spirit lets win 2020 general elections together", he said.

The journey remains forward, he added amidst cheers from the delegates.
