CFCC launches education fund

Accra, Sept. 19, GNA - The Covenant Family Community Church (CFCC) at Cantonments has launched an Educational Fund to spearhead transformational approach to providing education for needy members of the church.

The CFCC Education Fund will target students from Senior High School (SHS) to tertiary level and ensure students do not abandoned their education due to the death of a parent, guardian or sponsor or factors other than the desire of the person involved.

Reverend Dennis Osei-Manu, Head Pastor launching the fund said it was critical to the purpose and objective of the establishment of the church.

He explained that it was not ideal for the church to preach the gospel to the congregation and leave their needs behind.

Rev. Osei-Manu was optimistic that the fund managers would rise up to expectation and meet the needs of applicants.

Mrs Ivy Nketiah, Chairperson of the Five-Member CFCC Education Fund said it was welcome since it would bring to bear on the Word of God to meet the needs of people.

She noted that the fund was opened to students from SHS to the tertiary level.
