The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration has suspended all passport services at all Passport Application Centres (PACs) across the country with immediate effect.
This is in line with keeping with Government’s directives to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) that has as of today, March 19, 2020, seen 11 confirmed cases for Ghana.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration and sighted by GhanaWeb, Applicants will not be admitted for vetting and capture procedures as well as the collection of processed passports.
“All PACs will remain closed for the next two weeks or until such a time that the situation would be sufficiently safe for opening,” the statement read.
