CPP chooses candidate for Afram Plains North

Donkorkrom, Aug. 26, GNA - The Afram Plains North Constituency branch of the Convention People's Party (CPP) has by popular acclamation at Donkorkrom chosen Mr Albert Quarcoo Zah, as its Parliamentary Candidate for the Constituency in Election 2004. Mr Zah, who was the sole candidate, is a Theologian, Agriculturalist and a Mechanic.

He said if elected to Parliament he would initiate projects that would help to improve the standard of living of the people and advocated the establishment of a special social security package for people living in the rural area.

The Eastern Regional Chairman of the Party, Nana Owusu Sekyere said the CPP implemented viable development projects in the First Republic and called on the electorate to vote the Party into power to "bring the smiles on the faces of Ghanaians back."
