The Convention People’s Party (CPP) when voted to power will ensure freedom and justice for all irrespective of one’s political affiliation.
Mr Bright Akwetey, a Presidential aspirant of the CPP for the 2012 General Elections said this on Saturday, when he met the Central Region constituency executives in Cape Coast to canvas for votes in the impending primaries on May 12.
He said, past governments have failed the nation in terms of socio-economic development and urged them to vote for the CPP for better governance in the December general elections.
He said, the victory of CPP in December depended on their votes and asked Ghanaians to vote massively for the party.
The aspirant, who was once a State Attorney, asked them to sustain party structures and feel proud to be Nkrumaists.
Mr. Akwetey asked the executives to educate party members to refrain from violence and political insults to ensure free and peaceful elections, before, during and after the December general elections.
Ms. Araba Bentsil Enchil, former Executive Member of the party, asked members not to allow politicians to influence them with money to vote for them.
They should rather vote for honest people with sterling qualities.**
