Position Summary:

As an Entertainment Journalist, you will cover stories related to film, television, music, celebrity news, and pop culture, delivering high-quality content to captivate our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, write, and deliver engaging entertainment news, features, and interviews.
• Cover live events, film premieres, concerts, and celebrity interviews.
• Build and maintain relationships with entertainment industry contacts.
• Stay informed about the latest trends, news, and developments in the entertainment industry.
• Ensure all content adheres to journalistic ethics and editorial standards.
• Collaborate with editors and multimedia teams to create compelling content packages.
• Utilize content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing tools.
• Optimize content for SEO and align with digital media best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communication, English, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a journalist, preferably in entertainment reporting.
• Strong understanding of the entertainment industry and pop culture trends.
• Exceptional writing, interviewing, and storytelling skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and work under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing tools.
• Knowledge of SEO and digital media trends is an added advantage.
