Carl Wilson Steals Again!

The Daily Post is up again with more evidence which proves beyond doubt that Carl Wilson is a complete car thief.

Today's verifiable evidence has to do with a Toyota 4-runner station Wagon with chassis number JT3HN87RXX0229291.

The car arrived on-board the vessel, CMA CGM Paulista and was off-loaded to the Golden Jubilee Terminal on 9th August, 2009.

The importers, Geo & Nel Ghana Ltd were unable to clear the car at the time, citing exorbitant duty charges which stood at GH¢11,329.82.

They therefore requested for revaluation of the car in a letter dated 14th January, 2010 by shipping agency, Freight Plus Gh. Ltd.

Whiles the revaluation was on-going, Carl Wilson's outfit suddenly moved the car to the Safe Bond car park.

A communication from CEPS stated that revaluation will start on 11th February, 2010.

Before everybody could say jack, Carl Wilson allocated the car to one Susan Amenya. She cleared the Toyota 4-Runner on 9th March, 2010 through Kamp Shipping paying a paltry duty of GH¢570.

With this clear thievery, the importers are currently at the neck of Carl Wilson.

The CEPS authorities have also expressed dismay at the dramatic turn of events.

“We were carrying out our work and we have not finished the revaluation,” a senior CEPS officer said.

The car in question is an accident car. It has spare parts in it for repairs. The Toyota 4-Runner was manufactured in 1999 with Bill of Laden number CA2263200A1.

This is the latest car theft involving Carl Wilson. Earlier the Daily Post reported of the former chairman of the Confiscated Vehicles Allocation Committee stealing the original letter allocating a Lancia Dendra to one Mike Quarshie with the objective of stealing the car itself.

He gave the original letter to a Castle top man but as fate will have it, the clearing agents were prevented from clearing the car. The Castle top man has apologized for accepting a stolen document from Carl Wilson.
