Changing Lives donates to Sampa Hospital

Changing Lives Together Incorporated (CLTI), a non-governmental organization (NGO) has donated hospital equipment to the Sampa Government Hospital.

The NGO received the equipment from its a parent NGO, Ghana-Sacramento Foundation, California in the United States of America.

The equipment included two incubators, an Electro-Cardiogramme (ECG) Machine for checking movement of the heart and mosquito nets.

At a short ceremony at Sampa in the Jaman North District, Mr. Lawrence Opoku, National Co-ordinator of CLTI, said the donation was in response to a formal request made by the Hospital’s Management to CLTI.

He said it was one of their objectives to render their services to needy institutions and organizations in the country.

Mr. Edward Oppong Yeboah, District Health Services Administrator, expressed gratitude to CLTI for the timely response to the request, adding that the donation would enhance the Hospital’s services.

Mr. Yeboah appealed to other NGOs, philanthropists and corporate bodies to also assist the Hospital to acquire equipment like operating tables, diameter for operation, patients’ monitor and pulse oximeter to augment government’s efforts.
