In a historic move, Lom Nuku Ahlijah, Head of the GIMPA Law Faculty, has unveiled the first-ever book on Ghana's energy laws and policies. This pioneering work, crafted by a former Attorney of the Ghana Grid Company, aims to redefine the discourse on Ghana's energy sector, offering a comprehensive understanding of challenges and solutions within the industry.

As Ghana strives for a sustainable and efficient energy future, Ahlijah's insights, drawn from his extensive experience, promise to illuminate the path forward. The book goes beyond a mere analysis of challenges, providing practical solutions and outlining Ghana's policy framework.

"I’ve tried as much as possible to write in very simple, straightforward language, breaking down the various components of the energy sector so anybody who picks the book can read and understand how the sector works and how it impacts our lives," emphasized Ahlijah.

The book's significance has been underscored by industry experts such as Ing. Kirk Koffie, former Director of the Volta River Authority. Koffie noted, "There's a lot of work to do in the energy sector, and this book will help us understand what it takes and make us appreciate the challenges we have."

As Ghana charts new frontiers in its energy journey, Lom Nuku Ahlijah's book emerges as a pioneering force, guiding industry professionals and enthusiasts through the complexities and solutions within the nation's dynamic energy sector.
